What is our SkyRunner made of?
The SkyRunner is contained in a single external unit comprised of the Satellite Modem, GPS Chip-Set, and Antenna System. This type of design allows the unit to be completely sealed from the environment. In fact, the programming port features a sophisticated Gore-Tex® Patch for a complete water-tight seal.
As you can see from the pictures taken during harsh environmental testing, the unit must meet quite a few stringent requirements.
